Metricon Homes is a California-based builder specializing in fire-safe home construction and Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs). We help homeowners and communities rebuild stronger using cold-formed steel structures and other advanced building materials.

Position Overview

We are looking for a motivated Inside Sales Representative to connect with homeowners, post-fire rebuild clients, and strategic partners such as architects — with the primary goal of setting up appointments with our solution experts . You will be the first point of contact, qualifying prospects and guiding them toward next steps in their building journey. You will also attend shows/conferences to support sales activities. The position has a base salary plus commissions based on defined targets.

Key Responsibilities

Homeowner Outreach – ADUs

- Call and follow up with homeowners interested in building ADUs.
- Qualify leads and schedule consultations with solution experts.

Homeowner Outreach – New Builds & Rebuilds

- Engage with homeowners building or rebuilding after fires or other events.
- Explain our fire-safe construction solutions and book follow-up meetings.

Partner Engagement – Architects & Industry Professionals





- Connect with architects and other partners to explore collaboration opportunities.
- Coordinate joint calls or meetings between architects and our technical team.

Lead Qualification & CRM Management

- Capture all lead information accurately in the CRM.
- Track follow-ups, appointments set, and conversion metrics.

Collaboration with Sales & Marketing

- Work closely with marketing on outreach campaigns.
- Provide feedback to improve targeting and messaging.

Support Local Shows/Conferences

- Meet with prospects at the Metricon Booth.
- Set up appointments for the show and post-show follow up.

Qualifications

- 1–3 years inside sales or appointment-setting experience (construction/real estate preferred).
- Excellent phone communication and relationship-building skills.
- Experience with CRM systems (Active Campaign, HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.).
