Located within the Genesis Christian College campus, Genesis Sport & Aquatics (GSA) is an extremely long-term successful learn‑to‑swim and squad program. With a focus on participation and improving sport performance, Genesis Sport & Aquatics is open to both Genesis Christian College students and members of our local community.

Part time (term time) & casual roles available (between 10 & 20 hours for the right person)

We are seeking qualified Learn to Swim Instructors to join our swim school. Our team is passionate about equipping children with the skills they need to safely enjoy Australian waters. We focus on enhancing their swimming techniques and are always excited to welcome new staff members who share our enthusiasm for water safety and skill development!

Available is a variety of casual/part time (term-time) positions.



The successful applicant/s will need to be available to work rostered shifts. Varying shifts are available. (approx. 10 - 20 hours/week)

As a member of our Learn to Swim team, you will be responsible for:

- Providing high quality swimming lessons to GSA clientele under the direction of the Swim School Manager and Director of Genesis Sport & Aquatics
- Lesson planning and progress reporting on students, based on the Learn to Swim Manual
- Attending Professional Development on a regular basis
- Being part of a team of excellence in the Aquatic Industry
- Providing motivation and positive feedback to students and parents
- A passion for Water Safety and excellent swimming technique
- Cleaning and tidying where required

To be successful, you will have:

- Experience in the Aquatic Industry preferred
- Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety Certification (Austswim or SCTA)
