Get AI-powered advice on this job and more exclusive features. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Coordinator to join our team. This role is responsible for managing biweekly payroll processing through ADP, supporting payroll-related accounting functions, and collaborating with HR and department managers to ensure accurate and timely compensation, including bonuses and benefits deductions.

The Payroll

Coordinator will report directly to the Controller and play a key role in maintaining compliance, accuracy, and efficiency in all payroll operations.

Key Responsibilities - Process biweekly payroll in ADP, including updates for new hires, terminations, pay changes, and deductions.

- Review and correct employee timecards in coordination with department managers.
- Calculate and enter monthly bonuses for Operations and other departments; maintain and update bonus tracking schedules.
- Track and update PTO balances and schedules.
- Manage deductions for advances, garnishments, uniforms, and other items; maintain related tracking schedules and AR balances.
- Administer 401(k) enrollments and updates in ADP.
- Process payments for medical, dental, vision, and life insurance benefits.
- Support annual benefits enrollment in coordination with the benefits broker and HR.
- Ensure timely payment of payroll taxes and other withholdings via ACH or wire.
- Assist with quarterly and annual tax filings, including EEOC and other compliance reports.
- Coordinate with ADP on 401(k) Form 5500 preparation.
- Prepare journal entries and monthly reconciliations for all payroll-related general ledger accounts.
- Collaborate with the Controller for review and approval of payroll reports.

Qualifications - Proven experience with ADP payroll systems.





- Bookkeeping or accounting experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general ledger systems. Shift - Monday to Friday
