About the Opportunity

Join the dynamic Rates & Pricing team at Quinn Emanuel and play a key role in crafting pricing strategies that directly impact firm profitability. In this role, you’ll partner closely with attorneys, IT, and finance professionals to design models, assess pricing trends, and support client fee structures using real-time financial data. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys diving into numbers and turning insights into strategy.

What You’ll Do

- Develop, update, and maintain customized pricing models for client proposals
- Monitor billing and rate data to uncover patterns that can improve fee arrangements
- Support the implementation and tracking of client rate structures in Elite 3E
- Assist with budget creation and modeling of alternative fee arrangements (AFAs)
- Leverage Excel for deep data analysis and to pull reporting from internal systems
- Produce dashboards and client-specific financial reports tied to rates, increases, and profitability
- Partner with finance tech teams to test and validate pricing logic and tools
- Help streamline and enhance the pricing process through automation and best practices

What You Bring

- 2–5 years’ experience in a pricing, FP&A;, or financial/data analyst position (law firm experience = a plus!)
- Advanced Excel skills: pivot tables, nested formulas, and financial modeling
- Familiarity with Elite 3E or similar legal billing systems




- Ability to distill complex data into clear takeaways for non-technical stakeholders
- Strong communication skills and an eye for detail
- Experience with BI tools like Power BI or Tableau, or working knowledge of SQL, is a plus
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a high-speed environment, both solo and in team settings
