The Senior Manager, Contract Manufacturing (Peru) will be the local contract manufacturing supplier sourcing expert for Staples’ Private Brand products in Latin/South America. The primary responsibility of this role is to identify, vet, and onboard new contract manufacturing suppliers quickly and efficiently, ensuring speed, quality, and cost optimization within the policies, procedures and processes of SBIN BV. This role will help Staples continue to build its portfolio of Private Brand (white label) products and expand its global contract manufacturing portfolio for finished goods.

What You’ll Do

Operating within the policies, procedures and processes of SBIN BV, the Senior Manager, Contract Manufacturing, will perform the following:

- Act as the regional contract manufacturing supplier sourcing expert for finished goods in the office supplies, furniture, technology accessories, and breakroom product categories.
- Build a scalable capability to identify, vet, and onboard new contract manufactures quickly and efficiently to grow the South American finished goods manufacturing supplier base.
- Oversee the full manufacturing vetting process cycle including RFQs, RFPs, manufacturer evaluation,



and contract onboarding.
- Collect and leverage data to evaluate RFQs, identify opportunities, and drive high-ROI activities.
- Monitor and drive performance and service levels to deliver efficiency and quality improvements.
- Conduct market intelligence and benchmarking to identify emerging contract manufacturers and trends.
- Manage contract manufacturing relationships and resolve issues in collaboration with global teams.
- Ensure compliance with Staples’ contract supplier policies, ethical standards, and applicable regulations.
- Prepare reports on contract manufacturer performance, onboarding speed, and cost-saving initiatives.

What You Bring

- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in sourcing contract manufacturers of finished goods in the CPG space along with procurement and/or vendor management, preferably in consumer goods.
- Proven track record of onboarding new contract manufacturers in the CPG finished goods industry in Peru/Latin & South America.
- Strong cost optimization and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in English.
- Ability to travel up to 40% within Latin/South America and limited international travel for training.

Preferred Skills

- Knowledge of regional supply base for contract manufacturing of office products.
- Familiarity with compliance standards (ISO, FSC, BIFMA).
- Experience with ERP systems and procurement tools.
