AECOM is seeking an experienced PMO Technical Director/Managing Director for Underground Metro Line employment in Bogota, Colombia.

Responsibilities - Reporting to the director of the PMO, responsible for all the technical activities of the contract and coordinating the entire technical team.

- Providing technical expertise and guidance to project teams and client, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Participating in developing and delivering training, educational and knowledge transfer programs, as part of the project delivery.
- Creating management, communication plans and processes.
- Analyzing and developing procedures for management and technical duties.
- Participating in how budget and staff are allocated for the project.
- Maintaining project time frames, budget estimates and status reports.
- Executing delivery processes so that distributed resources in different geographies can work as an effective, objective-driven and collaborative global team.
- Providing leadership and fostering a work culture that recognizes, supports individual differences in workstyles, personalities, cultures, and values to maximize team performance and achieve team goals.
- Demonstrated ability in managing a general delivery model.
- Leveraging existing digital tools or putting in place new ones to ensure effective execution of the project.
- Responsible for guiding the technical team to work together to focus on what is essential at the project level.




- Integrating sustainable practices into project management processes where applicable.
- Considering environmental and social impacts in decision-making.

Minimum Qualifications - BA/BS in related engineering field + 10 years equivalent of experience and/or education, including 2 years of leadership.

- Specific experience of at least ten (10) years in management, technical direction, engineering managerial functions, either in construction or maintenance of Metro‑type mass transit rail systems, having intervened in such capacity in at least two (2) Metro‑type underground railway works projects (at least one of them excavated with TBM), that together add up to at least ten (10) km of tunnels and at least eight (8) underground stations for Metros.
- 5 years of experience in program management inclusive of at least two (2) in a senior leadership position ideally leading large rail infrastructure projects.
- Strong technical capability preferable including all project phases from design, planning, construction, operations, and maintenance preferably large program/projects.
- Considerable experience delivering in collaborative working arrangements.
- Demonstrable experience delivering large programs from the technical side as part of an integrated team.
- Strong knowledge of relevant subway and railway standards applicable in industry guidelines and current transit‑oriented practices.

Preferred Qualifications - 15+ years of professional experience.

- 3+ years of experience in a leadership role.
