Experience: 12+ Years in Banking Domain, Core Banking, Digital Banking, or Banking Transformation Programs Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Banking Domain Expert with strong functional expertise in banking operations, products, regulatory compliance, and business processes. The ideal candidate will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams, driving requirement discussions, providing domain guidance, and ensuring banking solutions align with local market practices, regulatory requirements, and business objectives.

This role requires deep knowledge of banking products, customer journeys, operational processes, compliance requirements, and core banking ecosystems. The candidate should be capable of translating business requirements into functional specifications and supporting solution definition for transformation and implementation programs. Key Responsibilities

Business & Functional Leadership

Lead business requirement gathering workshops with client stakeholders.

Analyze and document business requirements, process flows, use cases, and functional specifications.





Convert business requirements into clear functional specifications and user stories.

Act as the primary functional SME for banking products and operations.

Ensure business requirements are clearly understood and translated for architecture, development, and testing teams.

Banking Process & Product Expertise

Provide functional guidance across banking domains including:

CASA (Current & Savings Accounts)

Deposits

General Ledger & Accounting

Regulatory Reporting

Regulatory & Compliance Advisory

Advise teams on local banking regulations, compliance standards, and operational practices.

Ensure solution designs and business processes comply with regulatory requirements.

Support audit, risk, AML, KYC, sanctions screening, and customer due diligence requirements.

Liaise with compliance and risk management teams during transformation initiatives.

Stakeholder Management

Collaborate with business users, operations teams, product owners, architects, and development teams.

Present functional solutions to senior business leaders and client representatives.

Drive decision-making on functional requirements and business process design.

Transformation & Implementation Support

Support Core Banking implementation, modernization, and transformation programs.

Experience with one or more banking platforms
