Lycopodium is currently recruiting for a Senior Structural Engineer to join our growing Engineering team in Lima, San Isidro.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager will provide technical expertise and coordinate expertise from external sources to effectively complete project or study requirements. Senior engineers may need to perform the role of Lead Engineers as necessary to meet specific project requirements. Senior engineers will communicate and transfer information between all disciplines.
The tasks you'll perform
- To coordinate and supervise the structural engineering and drafting project team.
- To provide structural designs which meet the process,



project and client’s requirements.
- To prepare concrete and structural steel designs which comply with study or project specific codes and standards.
- To undertake structural designs within agreed date and manhour budgets.
- To enable effective and timely completion of structural designs and drawings through provision of design input.

The expertise you'll bring
- University Degree in Structural Engineering or equal.
- English language speaking, reading and writing.
- More than 8 years post graduating – heavy industrial, mining experience preferred.
- Familiarity with mining industry and/or process plant design.
- Ability to manage effectively the interaction with the Client on design and drafting issues.
- Demonstrate an ability to perform allocated tasks, unsupervised, within agreed milestone dates and to a high standard of accuracy and professionalism.
