This role is critical to ensuring financial integrity, regulatory compliance, and scalable processes across our international footprint. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in U.S. GAAP, experience working within public company environments, and a passion for mentoring high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities - Global Oversight: Lead and manage the company’s global accounting function, ensuring accurate and timely consolidation of international financial results.

- Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and develop a diverse global accounting team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous growth.
- Process Optimization: Drive automation, standardization, and continuous improvement across accounting processes to support scalability and efficiency.
- Audit & Governance: Lead annual audits and liaise with external auditors, ensuring preparedness and responsiveness across entities.
- Business Partnering: Collaborate closely with FP&A;, Tax, Legal, and Operations teams to support strategic initiatives and cross-functional projects.
- Systems & Tools: Lead enhancements of ERP systems and financial tools to streamline reporting and improve data integrity.
- Compliance & Reporting: Oversee financial reporting in compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations. Ensure internal controls are effective and SOX-compliant.

Qualifications - CPA certification required with public accounting (preferred Big4)





- 10+ years of progressive accounting leadership experience, with at least 3 years in a public company environment
- Strong understanding of international accounting operations and consolidations
- Retail or CPG industry experience required
- Proven experience managing and mentoring distributed teams
- Demonstrated success in driving process improvements and operational efficiencies
- Excellent communication skills and executive presence
