Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accounting Consultant for a 3-month engagement. The consultant will be responsible for meticulously reviewing, analyzing, and reconciling financial records across multiple key accounting areas to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting. This role will not have any direct reports and prior experience with NetSuite is a plus.

Base pay range

$40.00/hr - $60.00/hr

Responsibilities

- Financial Reporting & Analysis: Review and analyze financial reports, including P&L; and Balance Sheet variance analysis, identifying and explaining month-over-month differences.
- General Ledger & Reconciliations: Perform comprehensive reviews of journal entries and reconciliations across various accounts, including prepaids, fixed assets & intangibles, leases, cash, accruals, and payroll clearing accounts.
- Prepaids: Review amortization schedules, new additions, expense accounts, expired prepaids for accruals, short-term/long-term reclasses, and reconciliations.
- Fixed Assets & Intangibles: Review depreciation/amortization JEs, FAM schedules, disposal JEs, new addition proposals, and reconciliations.




- Leases: Review ASC 842 JEs, short-term/long-term reclasses, reconciliations, and data center expense allocations.
- Cash: Review bank reconciliations, JEs for cash dividends and FX differences.
- Accruals: Review recurring vendor accruals, flux analysis for outside services, and AP reports for additional accruals.
- Payroll: Review bonus expense accruals and payroll clearing reconciliations.
- Other: Review allocation JEs from FPA and address reclass requests received via email.
- Expense Reports: Review expense reports for cardholders, checking category/coding and department updates.

Eligibility

- 3-month engagement as a Senior Accounting Consultant (or equivalent).
- Experience with NetSuite is a plus.
- Strong analytical and reconciliation skills; attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
