Role Purpose The IT Services Intern will undergo training and gain practical experience across multiple areas within the IT Services department. This includes learning about IT service management, technical support, service delivery, and system administration. The intern will assist the team in various tasks while being exposed to different functions of the department, ensuring a broad understanding of how IT services are provided and managed at GB Advisors. --- Key Responsibilities and Expected Outcomes Training and Skill Development Participate in cross-functional training sessions covering IT service management, technical support, and service delivery.

Assist in hands-on tasks under senior team member supervision. Engage in shadowing opportunities with experienced IT professionals.

Technical

Support and Service Delivery Assistance Support troubleshooting and resolution of IT service issues under supervision. Assist in maintenance and updates of internal systems and service management platforms (e.g., Vtiger, ITSM tools). Execute basic software installation, configuration, and system maintenance tasks.

Documentation and Process Management Learn to manage documentation related to support processes, procedures, SLAs, and workflows. Support documentation of new procedures and improvement of existing workflows.



Collaboration and Cross‑functional Exposure Work with IT Services and cross‑functional teams to understand service integration.

Participate in meetings, workshops, and team discussions related to service improvement. Compliance and Best Practices Learn and support compliance with internal policies, IT security standards, and best practices. Assist in audits, reviews, and compliance checks related to IT service delivery.

Continuous Improvement

Provide feedback and suggestions to improve processes. Regularly update supervisors on progress and learning needs. --- Job Profile Education Level & Experience Education Level: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience: No prior experience required. Previous internships or academic IT projects are a plus.

English Level: Intermediate (B2). --- Technical Knowledge & Hard Skills Basic understanding of IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL). Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux). Basic networking concepts.

Knowledge of CRM tools (Vtiger or similar), service management platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). --- Soft Skills & Traits Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies. Ability to work collaboratively while taking initiative. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
