Overview

Accountant II – Contract – Remote (PST). A growing biomed company is seeking an Accountant II to provide critical support during an employee leave of absence. This role will focus on managing prepaid expenses, accruals, and monthly close activities while partnering closely with FP&A;, Accounts Payable, and business operations teams. If you’re detail-oriented, skilled in GL accounting, and ready to contribute immediately, we’d love to hear from you!

What You Will Do

- Manage prepaid expenses and accrued liabilities, including clinical trial-related accruals
- Prepare and book monthly journal entries in accordance with company policies
- Perform reconciliations and prepare supporting schedules for month-end balance reviews
- Analyze expense populations and ensure compliance with internal policies
- Partner with Accounts Payable to review and resolve invoice coding issues
- Prepare and distribute monthly clinical trial expense files

Who You Are

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Strong GL accounting experience,



including accruals
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and communicate effectively
- Experience with Oracle/EBS and BlackLine is a plus

Compensation

Base pay range: $35.00/hr - $38.00/hr. Compensation is determined by several factors including skillset, qualifications/certifications, experience level, and geographic location. This is a 5-week contract.

The expected pay rate is $35-38/hour (DOE).
