We are currently looking for freelancers based in Florida, Illinois, Washington, and Oregon.

Role Overview

Our Freelancer role is a sales-driven position that specializes in in-store support at Ulta. The responsibilities include increasing sales volume and productivity by providing an exceptional in-store experience and effective education to enhance brand awareness.

Responsibilities

1. Achieve product sales by recruiting potential clients, consulting, and building sales in an Ulta environment.
2. Train on product benefits, ingredients, and application techniques in-store.
3. Conduct retention checks, role plays, and practice open-ended questions during training.
4. Plan and execute store-level events with support from the Account Coordinator and/or Director.
5. Build strong, collaborative relationships with store teams and brand partners.
6. Provide feedback from in-store activities, including customer insights, inventory, and merchandising issues.
7. Track sales results and report progress to help meet corporate goals.
8.



Visit stores on peak days and hours as per a consistent schedule.
9. Maintain visual standards for Morphe gondolas, endcaps, and towers according to merchandising standards.

Qualifications

1. At least 3 years of beauty retail experience in Ulta and/or Sephora.
2. Makeup artist experience is required.
3. Passion for beauty and artistry.
4. Comfort with applying makeup, giving recommendations, and shade matching for all skin tones.
5. Excellent organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
6. Positive attitude and professional presence.
7. Versátil work schedule, including weekends.
8. Ability to motivate and inspire teams and speak to groups.
9. Willingness to travel locally as needed.
10. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Additional Skills
