Role Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Manager / Accounting Assistant to support financial operations, maintain accurate accounting records, and contribute to the efficient management of accounting processes.

This role is responsible for assisting with financial reporting, account reconciliations, budgeting, compliance, and day-to-day accounting activities while ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information. Key responsibilities include

- Manage and support daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and fixed asset records.
- Prepare, review, and maintain financial statements, management reports, and supporting documentation.
- Perform account reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of financial transactions and journal entries.
- Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow monitoring, and financial planning activities.
- Maintain accurate financial records in compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Monitor financial transactions and identify discrepancies for timely resolution.
- Assist with internal and external audits by preparing financial documentation and supporting schedules.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax requirements, and internal control procedures.
- Prepare financial analyses, variance reports, and performance summaries for management.
- Collaborate with finance, operations, procurement, and other departments to support business objectives.
- Maintain accounting systems, financial databases, and document management processes.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, bookkeeping, and internal controls.
- Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger management, bank reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
- Familiarity with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, accounting software, ERP systems, and financial reporting tools.
- Understanding of accounting standards, auditing principles, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy and organizational ability.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
