Key Responsibilities

- Act as the primary point of contact for customers, aiming to strengthen relationships across the different FLSmidth business areas.
- Activate and coordinate Field Services Engineering (FSE), Professional Services, Sales, and Global Specialists to deliver the most appropriate technical solutions aligned with customer needs.
- Manage maintenance plans in relation to spare parts requirements for FLSmidth equipment, ensuring efficiency and reliability.
- Identify opportunities within existing customer installations for equipment replacement using FLSmidth parts and consumables, increasing share of wallet.
- Provide strategic input to support the development of customer retention and growth plans.
- Work closely with Solution Specialists to drive on‑site consumables offerings.
- Identify opportunities to increase total Service Business Line (BL) order intake through Field Services Engineering engagement.
- Develop, train,



and support new Site Account Managers and Site Account Representatives to strengthen customer coverage and service delivery.
- Communicate with General Service, Business Lines (BL), and Regional Sales & Lifecycle Management (RSLM) regarding market price competitiveness and supply localisation/globalisation strategies.
- Perform scan jobs in main FLS equipment.
- Collaborate with Professional Services to deliver on‑site customer support and identify Upgrades & Retrofits (U/R) opportunities that enhance customer value and operational performance.

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, mechatronics, electronics, industrial engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience working in the mining industry in the same or a similar role.
- Strong ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and business areas, with experience managing and tracking KPIs in coordination with functional and business leaders.
- Knowledge and experience in preparing and developing technical and commercial proposals for the mining industry.
- Demonstrated passion for the mining industry, with a proactive mindset focused on innovation and making a meaningful impact within a global industry leader.
- Experience working closely with both suppliers and customers.




- Intermediate level of English, both spoken and written.

Key Processes / Focus Areas

- Achieve zero recordable incidents throughout the year.
- Consolidate and maintain annual or multi‑year maintenance contracts with key mining customers.
- Manage plant shutdowns (Shutdown Management).
- Establish and strengthen the Planning function within the customer maintenance service chain.
- Position FLSmidth as the #1 company in plant shutdown services.
- Oversee cost and budget management.
