Job title: Senior Java Developer (Claude AI)

12-month contract.

We are seeking a Senior Java Developer with strong enterprise application development experience, expertise using Claude AI, and knowledge of core banking systems. The successful candidate will coach and mentor small development teams while designing, developing, and supporting modern banking and financial software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based enterprise applications.
- Utilize Claude AI to improve software development productivity, troubleshooting, documentation, and code quality.
- Building and maintaining AI Orchestration, AI Agents and AI skill that will improve quality of code and time to market.
- Support and enhance core banking system integrations and related financial applications.
- Lead and mentor a small team of developers.
- Participate in technical design, architecture discussions, and code reviews.
- Work closely with QA, business analysts, and infrastructure teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Troubleshoot application issues and implement performance improvements.
- Ensure development follows security, compliance, and banking industry best practices.




- Provide after hours support during implementation or fixing client issues.

Required Qualifications

- 5+ years of experience in Java development.
- Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Framework, REST APIs, SQL (Oracle, MS-SQL …etc.), and enterprise application development.
- Strong understanding of AI technologies and AI-assisted software development tools. Experience working with core banking systems or financial services applications.
- Previous experience leading or mentoring a small development team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with cloud platforms and microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of automation testing and DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with AI integration, APIs, and workflow automation.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
