About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Assistant to manage overhead-related invoices and payments within our global finance function. This role is integral to maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring timely, compliant processing of high-volume transactions across multiple entities, currencies, and stakeholder groups.
You’ll be part of a fast-paced, international finance team, supporting the company’s operational efficiency and ensuring all overhead costs—such as utilities, rent, travel, professional services, marketing and sales, and office expenses—are recorded and processed accurately.
This role is responsible for processing a high volume of international overhead invoices across diverse countries and regions, specifically excluding local Peruvian-based transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Invoice Processing: Receive, review, and process a high volume of overhead invoices across multiple global entities, matching against purchase orders and complying with internal policies.
- Supplier Management: Maintain supplier data within the system and resolve any payment discrepancies and inquiries promptly.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments (e.g., Operations, Marketing, Sales, Talent, Technology, Facilities) to verify invoice and purchase order details and follow up on any queries promptly.
- Reporting: Assist the Accounts Payable Supervisor with month‑end and year‑end closing activities, including accruals, reporting, and audit preparation related to overhead accounts.
- Additional duties as required, such as special projects, month‑end reporting,
financial analysis, and assistance with audit requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an International Accounts Payable Assistant.
- Advanced level of English, oral and written.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Experience with a full procurement cycle for Accounts Payable.
- Hybrid role based out of Peru, requiring a minimum number of days in the Lima office as set by the region.
- Qualified applicants must hold appropriate citizenship or documents permitting them to reside and work in Peru.
