Position Summary
Tangent International is urgently hiring a System Engineer / Helpdesk Analyst to support enterprise IT operations across multiple international locations.
This role is essential to ensuring smooth end‐user IT services, stable office infrastructure, and successful delivery of global IT integration and transformation projects.
Detailed Job Description
As a System Engineer / Helpdesk Analyst, you will work cross‐functionally to support international business users across Europe and other regions.
You will provide first‐ and second‐line IT support, maintain office IT infrastructure, and manage IT assets and inventory.
The role involves participation in large‐scale regional and group‐wide initiatives, including new office builds, peak business events, user experience improvement programs, and general M&A; integration projects.
You will collaborate with teams across continents, making this an excellent opportunity for IT professionals seeking exposure to enterprise‐scale operations and international environments.
Key Responsibilities
Provide 1st and 2nd level IT support via phone, ticketing systems, email, and instant messaging
Troubleshoot and resolve Windows desktop and user‐side technical issues
Support Microsoft Office, Exchange, VPN, SharePoint, and user accounts/permissions
Provide support for user client hardware, mobile devices, printers, laptops, and desktops
Use remote administration tools to resolve end‐user issues efficiently
Maintain and update IT policies, procedures, and operational documentation
Ensure compliance with company IT standards, policies, and processes
Maintain accurate IT asset and inventory records in internal systems
Follow KPIs defined by the company and team leadership
Support global and regional IT projects, including M&A; integrations and office expansions
Required Qualifications & Skills
3+ years of desk‐side or IT support experience in large enterprise environments
Diploma in Computer Science or equivalent practical IT experience
Strong knowledge of User & VIP Support and ITIL methodology
Hands‐on experience supporting Windows and macOS environments
Experience with Microsoft enterprise tools and collaboration platforms
Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem‐solving skills
Ability to work independently and under pressure
Pleasant communication style with strong customer service orientation
Proficiency in spoken and written English
MCP certification (Microsoft Certified Professional)
Nice‐to‐Have Skills
Proficiency in spoken and written Putonghua (Mandarin)
Mac certification
Experience supporting global or multi‐region IT environments
Exposure to IT integration projects related to mergers or acquisitions
Strong documentation and reporting skills
