Currently operating across 50+ cities in India
and expanding internationally, Chalo combines end-to-end
operations, hardware/software deployment and analytics to raise
service quality, reduce wait times and unlock new business
opportunities for operators.
Their vision? To bring seamless,
tech-enabled, multi-modal mass transit into emerging markets —
aligning with urbanisation trends, sustainable transport and
digital transformation.
They are looking for a Senior Operations
Manager to lead the expansion and implementation of its platform
across Peru.
This role blends operational leadership, on-ground
execution, and product operations — driving impact across city
deployments and partner success.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee
end-to-end deployment of Chalo’s hardware and software solutions
(AFCS, cameras, GPS).
Ensure smooth onboarding of operators and
full adoption of the platform.
Lead a team of operations executives
and maintain system uptime above 95%.
Build strong relationships
with local stakeholders, including government bodies, operators,
and ecosystem partners.
Coordinate with integral product, tech, and
business teams to ensure operational excellence.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related fields. 3–5
years of experience in operations, business development, or
product/ops hybrid roles.
Experience in transport, mobility tech,
or fast-paced tech operations is a strong plus.
Fluency in Spanish
and English (written and verbal).
Strong project management,
analytical, and communication skills.
Tech-oriented mindset with
proficiency in dashboards, Excel/Google Sheets, and data tools.
Willingness to travel extensively and manage distributed field
teams.
Process-driven, strategic, and data-informed approach to
decision-making.
Own vehicle and valid driver’s license required.
