The AI Solution Architect will serve as the primary strategic advisor for a large-scale AI transformation within the Education sector. Unlike a traditional technical lead, this role is centered on enterprise-wide orchestration. You will be responsible for auditing the current state of AI adoption, defining a high-level end-to-end vision, and presenting one or more primary architectural paths for implementation.

This is a foundational role that balances deep technical knowledge with the ability to map AI capabilities to complex business processes.

Requirements

n

- Architectural Tenure: Minimum of 10 years in enterprise software architecture, with at least 3 years explicitly designing and deploying Generative AI or LLM-based solutions.

n

- Proven Discovery Experience: Demonstrated experience in a “Consultative Architect” role, having led at least two successful enterprise-wide audits and technology selections.

n

- RAG &

n
- Agentic Expertise: Deep technical understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) patterns, metadata filtering strategies, and multi-agent orchestration frameworks.

n

- Integration Mastery: Expert-level knowledge of RESTful APIs, event-driven architectures, and connecting non-structured AI outputs to structured legacy databases.

n

- Education Domain Knowledge: Verifiable experience working within the Education industry or with complex EdTech platforms, including knowledge of student data privacy laws.

n

- Cloud Infrastructure Depth:



Professional-level certification or equivalent experience in at least two major cloud providers (e.g., AWS Solution Architect, Azure Solutions Architect).

n

- Strategic Communication: Ability to produce high-fidelity architectural diagrams and executive-level comparison reports that justify technical choices to non-technical stakeholders.

n

- Academic/Technical Background: A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field, with a focus on Distributed Systems or Artificial Intelligence.

- Gap Analysis: Map the current “Shadow AI” landscape across the organization to identify redundant tools, data silos, and varying levels of technical maturity in different business units.

n

- Dual-Path Blueprinting: Develop two distinct architectural blueprints (e.g., a “Cloud-Native/SaaS” path vs. a “Private/Open-Source” path) comparing TCO, speed to market, and data sovereignty.

n

- End-to-End Data Orchestration: Design the flow of student and institutional data from legacy systems (LMS/SIS) into vector databases and RAG pipelines, ensuring “truth” and grounding.

n

- Governance &

- Compliance Framework:



Create the technical standards for “Privacy by Design,” specifically addressing PII masking and FERPA/GDPR compliance within AI prompts and completions.

n

- Interoperability Standards: Define the API and middleware strategy to ensure AI agents can trigger actions within existing enterprise software (CRM, ERP, and grading platforms).

n

- Vendor &

- Stack Evaluation: Perform a rigorous technical assessment of LLM providers (OpenAI, Anthropic) and infrastructure (Azure AI, AWS Bedrock, or Vertex AI) to recommend a standardized stack.

- Implementation Roadmap: Author a phased multi-year execution plan that transitions the company from the current fragmented state to a unified, automated AI ecosystem.

n

- Resource Modeling: Define the specific technical personas and skill sets (e.g., AI Engineers, Data Curators, MLOps) required to staff the implementation phase based on the chosen architecture.
