My Favorite Web Designs is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Local Citation Assistant to support our SEO team in building and maintaining local listings across major U.S. directories. This role is critical to strengthening our clients’ local visibility through accurate and consistent citations.

Tasks

- Create, manage and update business listings on platforms such as Yelp, Bing Places, Nextdoor and other local directories.
- Perform custom research to identify new citation opportunities based on each client’s industry and location.
- Monitor, audit, and correct inconsistencies in existing citations.
- Maintain accurate records of all citations created and managed.
- Collaborate with our SEO team to ensure best practices are followed in NAP consistency.

Requirements

- Previous experience with local SEO or citation building is highly preferred.




- Intermediate English skills (reading, writing, communication).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes.
- Comfortable working independently and managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Familiarity with tools like BrightLocal or similar is a plus (not required).
