The Senior Solutions

Architect defines and maintains solutions, technical, integration and data architecture.

n

Role and Responsibilities - Define and maintain all aspects of the solution, technical, integration, and data architecture for applications and ensure that the architecture represents the best fit across cost, complexity, and speed of execution considerations.

- Define and maintain standards and patterns, developer tools, technology upgrades, and mentor and guide developers through adoption of standards and patterns, tools, and technologies.
- Coordinate technical tasks with technical owner and project owner and help the team deliver solutions in a timely manner.




- Collaborate with other professionals to determine functional and non-functional requirements for new software or applications.
- Identify and communicate risks to the business; investigate and propose new tools and frameworks to deliver improved product quality, efficiency, or capability.
- Research new technologies, maintain roadmap of adopted technologies, conduct Proof of Concept/Technology, build and maintain developer tools, maintain standards, patterns and best practices, code review, ensure code reusability and use of standards, patterns, and best practices to drive consistency across all applications.
- Guide teams in creating technical designs that meet functional and performance requirements.
- Mentor developers and help resolve technical roadblocks; recognize organizational/team challenges and address them with management.
- Ensure the delivered solution meets the technical specifications and design requirement.
- Use tools and methodologies to create representations for functions and user interface of desired product.
- Develop high-level product specifications with attention to system integration and feasibility.
- Define all aspects of development from appropriate technology and workflow to coding standards.




- Successfully communicate all concepts and guidelines to the development team.
- Oversee progress of development team to ensure consistency with initial design.
- Provide technical guidance and coaching to developers and engineers.
- Ensure software meets all requirements of quality, security, modifiability, extensibility, etc.
- Approve final product before launch.

Qualifications and Requirements - Proven experience as a solution architect (4+ years).

n

- Minimum 7 years’ experience in software development using a modern programming language.
- Excellent knowledge of software and application design and architecture.
- Understanding of software quality assurance principles.
- A technical mindset with great attention to detail.
- High quality organizational and leadership skills.
- Outstanding communication and presentation abilities.
- Strong experience with Relational and NoSQL Databases.
- Experience with open-source technologies and cloud services.
- Wide AWS knowledge, Camunda and IA tools.
- Current with industry trends, IT ops, and industry best practices, and identify the ones we should implement.
- English proficiency both written and verbal.

Preferred Experience - Experience with Asynchronous APIs using queues, pub-sub, and/or Event-Driven Architecture;

n

experience with Kafka and/or EventStoreDB a plus.

n

- Experience working with Microservices and Serverless architecture.
- Knowledge of development languages such as React, Node.js, JavaScript.
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS, JavaScript and UI/UX design.
