Role Summary ThenSystem Architect (MDS)nis a hands‑onnSoftware and Data Solutions Architectnresponsible for designing, documenting, and guiding the implementation of scalable cloud‑based systems. This role partners closely withnProduct Managers, Engineering, and Data teamsnto translate business capabilities into robust architecture solutions.

Key Responsibilities

nArchitecture & Solution Designn

n
- Collaborate withnProduct Managersnto understand business capabilities and translate them into software and data architecture solutions.
n
- Design and maintainnarchitecture artifactsn, including diagrams and technical documentation.
n
- ApplynDiagram‑as‑Codenpractices to create version‑controlled and automated architecture diagrams.
n
- Attend and contribute tonarchitecture review sessionsn, presenting and defending architectural decisions.
n

nEngineering Enablementn

n
- Ensure development teams clearly understand thenarchitectural approach, patterns, and standardsn.
n




- Provide guidance to engineers to support correct implementation of the architecture.
n
- Act as a bridge between architecture and implementation teams.
n

nCloud & Data Platformsn

n
- Design and deploy solutions onnAzure Cloudn, with strong focus onnDatabricksnand data‑driven architectures.
n
- Understand and address cloud deployment nuances and trade‑offs.
n
- Build and supportnproofs of concept (POCs)nto validate architectural approaches.
n

nCollaboration & Communicationn

n
- Present architecture artifacts clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
n
- Demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical topics in depth.
n
- Take full ownership of problems, driving solutions from ideation through delivery.
n

nRequired Qualificationsn

Must‑Have Skills

- Proven experience as anSoftware Solutions Architectn.

- Hands‑on experience withnDiagram‑as‑Coden.

- Strong experience withnAzure CloudnandnDatabricksn.

- Practical engineering background, includingnC# and/or Data Engineeringn.
