Role Summary: The Staff Accountant will focus primarily on treasury and trust account activities, helping to ensure seamless management of cash-related transactions.

Key duties include reconciling receivables, handling trust accounts in line with compliance standards, and coordinating wire transfers and payment processing.

Core Responsibilities

n

- Review and reconcile client receivables; track aging and address discrepancies
- Oversee client trust accounts, ensuring strict adherence to compliance protocols
- Execute and log domestic and international wire transfers
- Process daily cash receipts and apply payments accurately
- Support the month-end and year-end close specific to treasury functions
- Serve as a liaison to attorneys and administrative teams for transaction-related queries
- Maintain clear,



audit-ready financial records in accordance with firm policies Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a similar field
- At least 2 years of professional accounting experience; legal or consulting sector experience strongly preferred
- Solid grasp of trust accounting principles and electronic fund transfers
- High level of accuracy, with strong organizational and analytical capabilities
- Confident in Excel and general ledger systems; familiarity with legal billing platforms is an asset
