Trade Facilitation Expert – Business and Investment Climate Reforms NTU International is preparing a proposal for the GIZ Integral Gateway Investment Climate Reform (ICR) Facility, which supports partner countries in improving business environments and unlocking sustainable private investment. The Facility delivers demand-driven technical assistance to governments and stakeholders to design and implement investment climate reforms and promote inclusive economic growth. We are creating a pool of Trade Facilitation Experts for this project.

Key Responsibilities - Support reforms reducing trade barriers and costs - Advise on customs, border procedures,



and trade systems - Strengthen regional integration and value chains - Develop trade policy recommendations Requirements Education - Master’s degree in economics, trade, law, or related field General Professional Experience - Minimum 9 years of experience providing economic policy advice to governments Specific Professional Experience - Minimum 7 years of experience in business and investment climate reforms - Minimum 3–5 years of experience in trade facilitation or trade policy Development Cooperation Experience - Minimum 5 years in development cooperation projects Languages - Knowledge of French or Spanish (C1) Inclusion in the expert pool does not guarantee immediate assignment but provides access to project opportunities as they become available.
