Project Overview:

Located 800 km northeast of Lima, Peru, Yanacocha is South America’s largest gold mine. The WTP Project consists of two of the largest acid water treatment plants in South America (the West one with capacity of 3,000 m3/hour and the East one with 2,700 m3/hour).

Early works are currently being performed on site, preparing the permanent platforms and laydown areas for the East and West plants, in addition to the Class 2 estimate, Level 3 schedule and Execution Plan.

Job Summary:

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring operational continuity, reliability of the electrical systems and compliance with the technical and regulatory standards of the organization. We are looking for a professional with solid experience leading electrical operations and instrumentation in industrial, mining or construction projects.

Major Responsibilities:

- Directing and supervising the installation, calibration and commissioning of instrumentation and control systems.
- Managing the preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance of electrical, automation and control systems.
- Coordinating the configuration, programming and optimization of industrial monitoring and control systems.
- Planning, coordinating and supervising the activities of the team in charge, ensuring compliance with operational objectives.
- Managing the human, technical and material resources of the electrical maintenance area.
- Controlling and evaluating the execution of works in the area in terms of quality, deadline and costs.
- Developing and controlling the budget of the area, monitoring costs and investments.
- Supervising the electric power generation and transmission processes to ensure the continuity of operations.
- Coordinating maneuvers and work on high, medium and low voltage electrical equipment (AT,



MT and BT).
- Ensuring compliance with applicable safety, occupational health, environmental and management systems standards.

Education and Experience Requirements:

- Requires bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related (or international equivalent) and 8-10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience, with a minimum of 10 years' experience in similar positions, in mining and similar sectors.
- Required qualified tuition by the College of Engineers of Peru (CIP).

Required Knowledge and Skills:

- Knowledge in electrical systems, substations, transmission lines and electrical maintenance.
- Knowledge of the National Electricity Code and applicable regulations.
- Management of Microsoft Office and software specialized in maintenance or electrical projects.
